Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- Submissions are less than 4 000 words excluding abstract and citations. It must use the Vancouver citation format. The font should be 12 point Times New Roman. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- Author(s) have secured all necessary copyright permissions for the use of 3rd-party materials in the manuscript.

A. CORRESPONDING AUTHOR’S GRANT OF RIGHTS
The Corresponding Author agrees that the Journal shall release the Work under the following:
1. An irrevocable Creative Commons Licence of CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0
Copyright in the Work remains with the Authors. This license is valid the full term of copyright and any extensions or renewals of that term.
B. CORRESPONDING AUTHOR’S DUTIES
1. When distributing or re-publishing the Work, the Corresponding Author agrees to credit the Journal as the place of first publication.
C. CORRESPONDING AUTHOR’S WARRANTY
The Corresponding Author represents and warrants that the Work is the Authors’ original work and that, to the best of their knowledge, it does not violate or infringe the law or the rights of any third party and, specifically, that the Work contains no matter that is defamatory or that infringes any literary or proprietary rights, intellectual property rights, or any rights of privacy. The Corresponding Author also warrants that he or she has the full power to make this agreement, and if the Work was prepared jointly, the Corresponding Author agrees to inform the Authors of the terms of this Agreement and to obtain their written permission to sign on their behalf. The Corresponding Author agrees to hold the Journal harmless from any breach of the aforementioned representations.
D. JOURNAL’S DUTIES
In consideration of the Corresponding Author’s grant of rights, the Journal agrees to publish the Work, attributing the Work to the Authors.
E. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This agreement reflects the entire understanding of the parties. This agreement may be amended only in writing by an addendum signed by the parties. Amendments are incorporated by reference to this agreement.
The corresponding author acknowledges that the metadata of this submission(s), where applicable and if accepted for publication, will be licensed under a public domain CC0 license.
Privacy Statement
The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
The data collected from registered and non-registered users of this journal falls within the scope of the standard functioning of peer-reviewed journals. It includes information that makes communication possible for the editorial process; it is used to informs readers about the authorship and editing of content; it enables collecting aggregated data on readership behaviors, as well as tracking geopolitical and social elements of scholarly communication.
Data collected by non-registered users may include IP address, date/time visited, page views, and browser information.
This journal’s editorial team and its hosting service, McGill Library Scholarly Publishing, uses this data to guide its work in publishing and improving this journal.
