Breast cancer (BC) is the most common cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-related mortality in Canadian women. In 2023, 29,400 cases were diagnosed in Canada, with an estimated 30,500 new cases in 2024, representing one-fourth of all new cancer diagnoses in women.
